Hello there!

It may sound strange, but I'm a gecko.

People call me Tucko, but friends always call me Gekosha.

As a gecko I like to crawl around old roofs, basements, cellars and dark attics. I wander through abandoned houses and barns, exploring dusty nooks and corners.

For many years I've been travelling the world in search of wonderful treasures — and sometimes I get very lucky, finding amazing artifacts under a thick layer of dust in the lost kingdoms of old spider webs.

This is my trove: rare vintage pieces carefully collected in shops, flea markets, antique stores, bazaars — and, to be honest, even at the rubbish tips. I hope you'll find something you've always been looking for!

— Gekosha, treasure hunter

家守 In Japanese a gecko is yamori — written “house guardian”. And in Thailand, if a tokay calls seven times in a row, folk wisdom says luck is on its way.

    Dorei · 土鈴

Ring a clay bell for luck

Dorei are bells of fired clay with a little clay pellet inside. Since the Edo period they've been sold at shrines as engimono — lucky charms — shaped like zodiac animals, gods and demons. Their voice is soft and earthy, nothing like metal. Tap one.
